Why it exists

Fertiliser is one of the biggest costs on an Australian farm, yet product facts are spread across brochures, brand sites and research papers. Fert Directory puts the published analysis, a plain-English explanation and the sources in one place, so you can compare products on a like-for-like basis before you talk to your agronomist or supplier.

What we do and do not do

  • We list 302 products with their published analysis, each linked to the manufacturer source and the date we checked it.
  • We show a value only when we can read it from a source. Unknown means “—”, never a guess.
  • Our recommendations are sponsor-blind: no payment or sponsor flag can change a ranking. Read how it works.
  • We are not a shop, a fertiliser retailer or an agronomy service. We do not give agronomic advice. Always check with your agronomist before acting.
  • We do not use AI-generated images, and we do not invent testimonials, reviews, ratings or people. Photographs are real and credited on the credits page.

Who is behind it

Fert Directory is an independent Australian project. Articles are published under the Fert Directory editorial team byline and are not yet reviewed by a qualified agronomist; each one says so, and lists what we could not verify. If you are an agronomist willing to review content, please get in touch.

Where the money comes from

Nothing is for sale on this site today. A sponsored slot exists in the code but is switched off. If it is ever switched on it will be labelled “Sponsored” and will not affect recommendations. Outbound links to manufacturers are not affiliate links.
